Lays aimed to elevate its brand presence through a multi-sensory experience that celebrated the brand’s globally inspired flavors. The goal was to create an activation that went beyond taste, allowing visitors to experience flavor through sight, scent, sound, and personalization. The concept—Joy Pods—was designed to transport audiences into the playful, emotional world of Lays while connecting them to the brand’s international identity.

Integrated motion and scent sensors released fragrances inspired by Lays’ special edition flavors, including the delicate cherry blossom crisps. This transformed a simple tasting experience into a fully sensory narrative.
One standout pod featured a custom interaction with Lionel Messi, where visitors could enter their names and receive a personalized video greeting from the global football icon—blending personalization, technology, and star-powered excitement.
